It's teeth are like white daggers,
Ready to plunge into the body of its victim.
And become coated with blood.
The terrorizing fangs of this creature are capable of slicing through skin on contact.
The jawbone of this monster is a vice grip that can rip off chunks of flesh.
Its screech is a mighty growl of fear and horror with an eerie echo.
It is such a fear striking cry.
Its wings are leather. The wings of this creature are like a birds without feathers.
The wings are capable of retracting and widening at the creatures command.
Its feet are hooks to hang the rest of its body off of the branches of trees.
Again the horrific monster lets out its mighty roar like a lion.
Again the howl echoes across the landscape.
The stare of the beast is unthinking and unfeeling. This creature never feels remorse for its prey.
Its stare is a missile locked onto its food.
This beast is a bullet waiting to be fired.
The sun has risen,
The flying terror is scared.
Its eyes close with fear.
The flying terror is now harmless.
That was very frightening to read...but really good. Good sensory details. I also liked the ending how the beast became harmless; its a good twist to the poem :D
