On my class's backpacking trip I saw some amazing sites. Here's two of them. On the backpacking trip a really cool site was the campsite maybe half of the thrill was seeing a rest stop after six miles. But the rest of it was seeing the campsite from this hillside I was standing on. The reed leaves and branches were trying to block the view, but I still got a really good look at it. There was a stream there too. with rocks where we were camping on one side and the forest where we were on the other. I was also kind of surprised how we were going to camp on rocks. That scene was nice because if I turned my head a little It almost looked like that stream, rocks, and forest would go on forever.
Another great site was at the other end of the trail. It was a bridge leading to the parking lot where all the cars that took us were. The thing that connected the trail and parking lot was a wooden bridge that was high over a deep trench. It was like one you would see in the infantry except it had too many plants in it. It also didn't have any war supplies in it. I might have just been happy to see it because I was carrying a maybe five pound backpack for six and a half miles, but it was still a good site.
